  39.     Most often, you start Gimp either by clicking on an icon (if your
  40.     system is set up to provide you with one), or by typing
  41.     <span><b class="command">gimp</b></span> on a command line.  If you have multiple
  42.     versions of the Gimp installed, you may need to type
  43.     <span><b class="command">gimp-2.2</b></span> to get the latest version. You can,
  44.     if you want, give a list of image files on the command line after
  45.     the program name, and they will automatically be opened by Gimp as
  46.     it starts. It is also possible, though, to open files from within
  47.     Gimp once it is running.

  51.     types of image files are "associated" with Gimp, and cause it to

  67.       "gimp".  The gimp-remote program is an auxiliary that comes with

  70.       argument to gimp-remote is loaded.  If gimp is already running,
  71.       though, the image is simply loaded into the already-running
